Sarang Vangipuram

arang is the quintessential "go to" guy when it comes to arranging investment property finance. Under the umbrella of Constellation Mortgages, he liases with lenders across the country, co-ordinating all aspects of the loan application process on behalf of our customers.

Born in 1968 in Hyderabad, India, Sarang did his post-graduate studies and worked as a consultant before migrating to New Zealand in 1995.

In 1997, following a brief return to India, Sarang married and moved to Auckland with his wife, Sunitha.

For the next four years he worked with Martin Hutchin of Mortgage & Financial Services. During his time there he took up mortgage broking and began teaching his customers the "disciplined art" of mortgage reduction.

In 2001, Sarang joined Wealth Buy Property in the capacity of a mortgage broker - a position he held until the end of 2005.

February 2006 saw him head up Constellation Mortgages - a mortgage finance company that has a working relationship (client-wise) with Compass Property Investments. One of Sarang's roles within Constellation Mortgages involves the preparation of PIA's (Property Investment Analysis reports) for Compass clients.

Sarang is an accredited member of the NZ Mortgage Brokers Association and plays a vital role in securing cost-effective property finance for property investors both here in New Zealand and overseas.

Like most members of the "Compass Team", Sarang enjoys ownership of multiple investment properties. He plans to continue growing his property portfolio and believes strongly that investing in residential property is something that ALL New Zealanders should do - not just for short term wealth creation but also as a means of planning for retirement.

Sarang has a passionate interest in cricket. He also enjoys tennis, playing badminton, watching movies, and keeping up-to-date on current affairs - both nationally and internationally.
