Simon Belcher
imon has come to Compass to manage and
oversee our exciting Queensland Investment Property
Division. He has been consulting clients
on investment properties for over 8
years now and after what is normally a property
cycle, is back with Harry Somaraju who he first
worked under when entering the world of investment
property.
Simon is married to Clair and has 2
young boys, James and Henry. His history is two
long employment stints with ANZ Bank and Air New
Zealand -
Airline Accounting. ( He said he
didn't have to change the initials on his shirts!
) When it came time for a change in direction, he
wanted to talk to people about what he and his wife had been
doing with great success - buying investment
property!
His philosophy on property is keep it
simple and do the TIME! Experts say that you
should have a diversified investment portfolio,
which Simon agrees
with, but his idea of a diversified
portfolio is still property, but have some in a
different country!
