Warren Atkins

arren has spent the vast majority of his working life in the banking and finance sector.
Through much of this time, he's acted as a consultant and commercial mentor to small and medium-sized companies in need of restructuring. Critical path planning, designing and implementation have been his areas of expertise.
The last 15 years of his time in the banking and finance field were spent in the private consulting / portfolio management sector.
Warren's love of property investing has come about through years of hands-on experience in the risk side of asset management.
He sees strategic investment in residential property as being one of the smartest things the average "kiwi bloke or blokette" could involve themselves in - particularly if the reason for investing was motivated by the need to plan for retirement.
Warren was brought into Compass Property Investments to help structure the "Private Lease" division where his invaluable experience in referral marketing has dramatically widened the company's reach.
Over the years, Warren has accumulated a substantial residential investment property portfolio, most of which now comes under the "rent guaranteed" banner. His knowledge of property investment and 'how to avoid the pitfalls' will not only save you time and money, but heartaches too!
Warren's interests and hobbies include: travel; sailing; rotary; philosophy; writing and painting. NB: His latest novel - The Grapple and the Guinea Pig - has just hit the shelves.
He is a noted public speaker who regularly commands a guest speaking role on cruise liners as well as at service clubs, retirement villages, colleges and libraries.
Warren is married and has lived on Auckland's North Shore for almost four decades. He is a man of hard-earned wisdom and a person you could never learn enough from.
